Southwest Looms Expands Presence at High Point Market with Second Showroom

Southwest Looms says that the growing demand for rugs spurs its decision to expand its High Point Market presence with an additional space.

HIGH POINT -- Southwest Looms is expanding its presence at High Point Market this spring with the addition of a second showroom.

The company will now exhibit in two locations at The Suites at Market Square—Showroom G1042 and Showroom M6008-11—allowing for a broader display of its collections. This move reflects Southwest Looms’ strong growth and increasing demand for its signature rugs, particularly its Pendleton Woolen Mills collections.

"Following our best year to date in 2024, we have seen a strong start to 2025," said Clara Johnson, Director of Administration. "The first quarter is on track to surpass our record-breaking performance in Q1 of 2024."

The new showroom, M6008-11, will be dedicated exclusively to Southwest Looms collections and is strategically positioned across from Fireside Lodge Furniture to create a complementary design showcase. Meanwhile, Showroom G1042 will feature the company’s Arts & Crafts and Afghan collections alongside selections from The Persian Carpet Curated, an NC-based interior design showroom.

“We anticipate continued growth in our account base. Each market presents an opportunity to establish new relationships with accounts and interior designers, and we expect the Spring 2025 market to be no different.” said Johnson. As the official licensee for Pendleton Woolen Mills, Southwest Looms continues to see year-over-year sales growth, with increasing demand for custom rugs, interior design projects and specialty orders.

By expanding its footprint at High Point Market, Southwest Looms aims to strengthen its industry presence and further solidify its reputation for high-quality, design-forward rugs.
