Bold patterns, tonal geometrics and updated Persian area rug styles are on tap for spring High Point Market.

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- As part of our ongoing, in-depth market coverage, RugNews.com previews more than 40 new area rug debuts across the High Point Market campus.

Bold patterns and statement-making pieces in vibrant hues are gaining traction, with many exhibitors unveiling striking designs aimed at capturing attention. Simultaneously, a trend is emerging toward warm neutral palettes applied across traditional and abstract motifs, with neutrals sometimes accented with playful pops of color. At the other end of the design spectrum, textured tonal rugs continue to make a mark, offering geometric patterns with high visual impact, often in chunkier or shaggier constructions for coziness underfoot.

Sustainability continues to shape product development, with an increasing number of exhibitors prioritizing rugs made from recycled plastic PET fiber or natural materials utilizing natural dyes, and embracing ethical, environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.

Meanwhile, classic Persian-inspired designs remain a foundational category, and the latest interpretations range from distressed, softly colored pieces in warm neutrals to more vibrant styles with clearly defined motifs and saturated palettes.

In Part 2 of our comprehensive spring High Point Market preview, RugNews.com explores even more standout debuts poised to make an impact on the floor.
