SOMERSET, N.J. -- Kas has informed its customers that it is dropping rug collections imported from China.
"We have made the difficult decision to drop collections imported from China. These include Bliss, Harbor, and Roxy. The 170-176 percent tariff burden is not a viable solution for KAS and also in terms of product value," the company stated in an email.
The current stock of Bliss (a machine-woven super soft shag lineup), Harbor (an indoor-outdoor hand-hooked assortment), and Roxy (machine-woven of the softest polyester) will be available at the full price as it includes the 20 percent tariffs implemented this year.
