HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Lavin Rugs has found a doggone cute way to celebrate the debut of its new 100 percent recycled PET area rug collection. The company is partnering with animal rescue organization SPCA of the Triad to raise money for the organization and give market-goers the chance for a break from the market hustle to cuddle a furry friend.
Fourteen dogs and puppies, bedecked in bandannas emblazoned with the Lavin logo, are strolling the sidewalks of High Point with volunteer handlers or hanging out inside the Lavin showroom (IHFC C-212). Those who donate to the SPCA of the Triad can get a personalized pet tag to take home to their own pets.
Lavin rolled out four handwoven and hand-tufted collections -- Contemporary Luxe by Tamara Day and Kali, Myra and Pari -- are made of the recycled PET fiber. The rugs are hypoallergenic and easy to clean, which makes them ideal for pet owners, families, and high-traffic environments. Some of the rugs also are treated with UV protection making them suitable for outdoor use.
And yes, the dogs are adoptable by completing an application with the SPCA of the Triad.
