Interior designers Evette Rios and Mikel Welch headline LR Home events at High Point Market.
HIGH POINT, NC – LR Home will host two celebrity designer events at its High Point showroom, D531, during the fall 2024 market, where the company is launching hundreds of new area rugs, decorative pillows and poufs, as well as furniture and upholstered pieces.
The Design Nightmare Panel, held Sunday, Oct. 27 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. features lifestyle design expert Evette Rios, celeb designer Mikel Welch and a surprise guest discussing creative solutions to their most difficult and challenging design projects. Following a lively discussion moderated by Andrea Lillo, HFN, participants will be invited to enjoy Samosas & Mimosas with the panelists.
Mikel Welch, known for his role in Netflix's Emmy-winning series, Hack My Home, and as the in-house design expert on The Drew Barrymore Show, has been tapped as a Style Spotter by High Point Market Authority at the fall show.
A second event, also hosted by TV celebrity designer Evette Rios at the LR showroom, will be held on Monday, Oct. 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Halloween themed “Design & Bag Event” will give attendees a hands-on design experience where they will be able to personalize their own unique Halloween bag. This fun creative experience will also be followed by Samosas & Mimosas with Evette Rios from 4 p.m. until showroom closing.
