Three rug showrooms -- Loloi, Obeetee, and Oriental Weavers -- celebrated showroom news with ribbon cuttings
HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Three area rug makers, Loloi, Obeetee and Oriental Weavers, cut the ribbons on their new, renovated and expanded High Point Market spaces at the spring edition of market.

Loloi expanded of its IHFC footprint adding an extra 8,000 square feet bringing its IHFC, D-320, showroom to a total of 38,000 square feet. At the space, Amir Loloi told RugNews.com, the new addition makes this the largest rug showroom in High Point.
The company also has showrooms located in Dallas, New York, Atlanta, and Las Vegas, totaling more than 113,000 square feet of sales floor space across the five cities.
OBEETEE

Among those celebrating new showrooms is Obeetee, which returned to High Point Market at the fall 2023 edition and has now made that space in IFHC's Hamilton Wing its permanent Market home. Company executives cut the ribbon on the newly remodeled space, H-312, on Saturday, April 13 and showcased Obeetee's full area rug assortment, which includes hand-knotted, hand-tufted, power-loomed and indoor/outdoor designs. Known for its social and environmental standards, Obeetee was the first rug company to earn SA 8000:2001 certification for Social Accountability.

Oriental Weavers unveiled its redesigned High Point showroom, space IHFC G-276, in the International Home Furnishing Center’s Green Wing at the spring 2024 edition of High Point Market. The company's showroom has been completely reconfigured and updated to create a more inviting and visually appealing atmosphere and to showcase an expanded inventory of 25 percent more area rugs.
