LOS ANGELES -- Ruggable, an online retailer of machine-washable area rugs, has introduced a new collection featuring the iconic Pop Art designs of artist Keith Haring (1958-1990).
Ruggable x Keith Haring includes 15 plush chenille rugs, made from polyester with a polyurethane water-resistant barrier, and nine doormats featuring a coir-like background that is also machine-washable as well. The collection includes some of Haring's most iconic drawings which emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s. The pieces in the Ruggable line include some of his colorful designs, while others offer a more toned-down and neutral styling. Prices range from $109 to $739 depending on the size of the rug or doormat.

Founded in 2010 by Los Angeles-based entrepreneur Jeneva Bell, Ruggable designs feature a two-piece washable system: a lightweight, removable rug cover and a nonslip rug pad. With a system that stops liquids and odors from getting trapped deep in the rug’s fibers, Ruggable allows the freedom to explore dynamic, experimental designs and fosters the opportunity for consumers to be creative with a variety of looks.
