HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Hand-knot specialist S&H Rugs heads back to its Suites at Market Square location M1015 to showcase its latest newly fabricated handcrafted area rugs at the upcoming High Point Market, April 26-30.

"We are excited to showcase our latest colors and designs, which we believe will resonate well with both our returning clients and potential new customers," said Ori Wilbush, founder, noting that new introductions range from more affordably priced hand-loomed pieces to high-end hand-knotted debuts.

Among the trends Wilbush expects to be popular among his designer clientele are S&H's 100 percent natural wool zero pile rugs and its washed out tribal and Persian designs, which "will continue to be top sellers due to their durability, natural feel, and versatility in various interior styles. Their low pile makes them easy to maintain and perfect for high-traffic areas, which is a valuable feature for many customers," he explained

Another new genre that continues to gain momentum is Chinese art deco, and S&H Rugs rolls out several new collections to cater to this direction. "We have added some new collections of antique Chinese art deco revivals as well as bird design pieces out of 100 percent high mountain wool," Wilbush noted, adding that S&H will also introduce unique modern and midcentury designs.

A vivid pink and red pattern (sh20204) injects excitement into this classic Oushak-inspired motif from S&H's Angora
Oushak lineup.

The Turkish Oushak category remains a favorite and Wilbush expects it to continue to perform well this year, "especially with the introduction of our new hand-knotted Oushaks with earthy colors and tones. These designs can appeal to shoppers looking to create a warm, inviting atmosphere in their homes. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary color palettes should attract a diverse range of interior decorators and decor enthusiasts, making these categories stand out in sales."

Another category standout category at S&H is runners, which the company has invested in and now offers sizes from under 6 feet to longer than 14 feet.

"We are witnessing a big demand for hallway runners and runners for stairs this year, which supersedes the demand and sales of standard room sizes such as 8x10 and 9x12."

The hand-knotted Sh20085 grows the Aryana collection and offers a classic Heriz motif in crimson red with a distinct
abrash. The rug is 100 percent wool colored with vegetable dyes.
