NEW YORK -- Surya's goal to be one of the nation's top three rug producers for big box and mass merchant retailers drives its aggressive new area rug roll out for buyers heading to New York Home Fashions Market, running from Sept. 16-19, 2024.
Among the highlights that will be on display at Surya's 230 5th Ave., suite 1503, showroom are new qualities of machine-woven washable rugs, a full line of tufted utility scatter rugs, and anti-fatigue door mats. In addition, for fall rug buyers Surya introduces its first licensed rugs alongside social media influencer My Texas House and expands its successful Becki Owens lineup.

Among the featured area rug debuts is the machine-woven Alston collection, made of 100 percent polyester. Alston rug designs, which include a striae pattern, an updated traditional motif and tile-inspired style, are rendered in a fresh palette of blues, golds, greens and creams. The collection is machine washable and is available in sizes 5’3” x 7’, 6’7” x 9’2”, 7’10” x 9’6”.

Surya's successful Lavable series of machine-washable rugs sees a line extension with three additional designs for the fall market. This extensive collection is machine-woven of 100 percent polyester and offers styles ranging from vibrantly colored traditional motifs to soft vintage looks and bold graphic geometric designs.

Another market introduction is the affordable, machine-washable Amelina area rug collection from Surya's new partnership with My Texas House. It includes eight designs in styles including a plaid pattern, an updated Oushak look and contemporary floral motif.
Finally, Surya continues to expand its selection of scatter rugs which now includes 12 collections in a range of constructions. For fall the focus is on adding fresh hand-tufted scatters and growing the company's assortment of anti-fatigue door mats, adding a range of different thicknesses from 10 mil-25 mil, in a variety of price points.
