New York Home Fashions Market Week

 SMILES ABOUND AT
HOME FURNISHINGS MARKET WEEK

Seems like only yesterday that Jim Hines, second left, and Mary Lynne Sobel, second right, joined the Kalaty sales team. But it has actually been 20 years. They were the first two independent sales people that Kalaty hired, way back in 1990. Jim covers the southwest and Mary Lynne handles the southeast.  (The company now has 17 sales agents covering the US). Mike Kalaty, left, and Ariel Kalaty, right, congratulate Hines and Sobel on their accomplishments over the past 20 years. Biggest change over the past 20 years? "Programmed rugs," says Jim. "The concept completely changed the way the rug industry does business."
