From left: Dale Sweary (love the white belt), Feizy vice president of sales; John Feizy, founder and president of Feizy; Gregory Hiller of Thomasville Furniture, Thomasville, NC, and Erin Smidt, Feizy Head Go-Go Dancer. (ED NOTE: What scares me most about this picture is that I looked just like Erin back in 1973. Only not as good looking.)

It was 70's deja vu all over again at Feizy's 40th
Anniversary bash. These guys remind me of some of my
old boyfriends.  In real life, they are
Jose "curly" Guzman, Blues Brothers Rick Meuser
and Mark Jerdon and Disco peacenik John Whorton. Fortunately there's only one guy left in my life from this era.

Feizy's Las Vegas Showroom was all decked out for
40th Anniversary Monster Bash.

Almost the entire Mink Organization was on hand in Las Vegas to have business conferences for three days and also to meet with important vendor partners. Here's a gang of Minks visiting the Loloi showroom and Loloi execs. By the way, the message on that T-shirt says, "Let the Rugs Roll On." Very aptly put. The Mink Organization operates the rug departments in all Macy's stores across the country.

Oriental Weavers' bold bright Pantone collections reflect a fesh optimism for the rug business. OW's Bill Baker, left, welcomes Shawn Nili and Mark Moran of NW Rugs, Wilsonville, OR
