NEW YORK – Calvin Klein Home has opened a 7,000 sq. ft. lifestyle shop within Lord & Taylor’s newly renovated New York flagship store.
The ninth floor shop-within-a-shop at Lord & Taylor’s iconic New York City store will showcase a range of Calvin Klein products in all home categories spanning furniture, rugs, bed and bath, down, tabletop and giftware.
“Calvin Klein Home is a business with strong growth potential for our brand and we are pleased to join forces with Lord & Taylor and be a part of their re-entry into the home arena,†said Tom Murry, president and chief executive officer of Calvin Klein, Inc.
The shop includes three complete room settings depicting a living room, dining room and bedroom. Coordinating rugs are in each room.
The Living Room: Suffolk design from the Prairie Collection is made of fine strips of cowhide in deep chocolate and sable black-browns. The hides are sourced in Latin America and assembled in India. The approximate retail price for the 5.6x7.5 is $1,999. The 9x12 shown in the room setting has an approximate retail price is $4,999.

collection. Power-loomed in China, the 7'9" x 10'10" in the Lord & Taylor setting has a suggested retail price of $1,699.
The Dining Room: Abstract design from the Nourison Calvin Klein Home Urban collection has a dimensional ink blot design created through subtle layers of stone-washed tones. Power-loomed
in China using a blend of 80% New Zealand wool and 20% nylon, the approximate retail for 5'5" x 7'5" is $799. The 7'9"x10'10" shown in the Lord & Taylor setting retails at $1,699.

newly-remodeled ninth floor features a design from Nourison's Calvin Klein Home Lunar collection. The 3'6" x 5'6" rug in the room setting has a suggested retail price of $399.
The Bedroom: Luminescent Rib design from the Calvin Klein Home Lunar collection. Hand-loomed in India of viscose faux silk, it has a luminescent finish and velvet texture. Approximate retail price for 5'5" x 7'5" is $799. The 3'6" x 5'6" shown in this setting has an approximate retail price of $399.
In addition to the rugs featured in the room settings, there is also a rug alcove with a swinging arm rack containing a large assortment from the Calvin Klein Home rug collection.
The shop features the latest pieces in the Calvin Klein furniture line, which is inspired by urban living. The pieces continue to take inspiration from the Calvin Klein apparel and accessory lines, as evidenced in the featured materials and hardware. Many of the pieces are designed with medium walnut wood with satin brushed nickel detailing, and materials such as woven grass and travertine. There are 25 furniture merchandised on the floor.
All of the designs are conceptualized and executed by an in-house team of designers led by Calvin Klein Home’s creative director, Amy Mellen.
