Celebrity designer Thom Filicia expands his Feizy rug collaboration with new styles for spring High Point Market.
HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Feizy, which launched its collaboration with New York designer and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy celebrity designer Thom Filicia at the spring 2021 High Point Market, adds several new rug collections to the lineup for spring market-shoppers.
The latest designs by Filicia, which include hand-knotted and hand-tufted pieces, continue to showcase his signature style that offers classic references with a contemporary twist, including color palettes in today's top neutrals, pattern plays, abstracted looks and plenty of texture. The full range of the Thom Filicia Home collection by Feizy will be featured at Feizy's new two-story High Point showroom located at 309 N. Hamilton. The latest Thom Filicia Home rugs to debut are:
BLUFF
Offering plenty of texture and tonal coloration, Bluff is hand-knotted of hand-spun yarns.
The Bluff collection is hand-knotted of hand-spun yarns blended with gray strands to add a natural variation while maintaining the ivory color. Hand-crafted by skilled weavers in India, these rugs include both short and long pile on a flatweave base and are hand-sheared. Bluff rugs will be in stock June 2023 and are available sizes: 2x3, 4x6, 5x8, 8x10, 9x12 and 10x14.
DERING
Hand-knotted of hand-spun, hand-carded yarns, Dering is hand-sheared for a textural finish.
The debuting Dering collection is hand-knotted with fibers spun from a combination of hand-spun and hand-carded yarn. Rugs are lightly washed to maintain the quality of the yarn and finished with hand-shearing to offer a natural look and plenty of texture. Rugs will be in stock in July and available in sizes: 2x3, 4x6, 5x8, 8x10, 9x12, 10x14, 12x15, 2’6”x8’, 2’6”x10’ and 8’ round.
GANSETT
The Gansett rug from Thom Filicia is inspired by Feizy's hand-tufted Enzo lineup.
Gansett joins the Thom Filicia Home collection. Hand-tufted of wool with raised motif, the design is inspired by Feizy's popular Enzo collection and updates a Thom Filicia fabric motif. Available in June in the following sizes: 2x3, 5x8, 8x10, 9’6”x13’6, 12x15, 2’6”x8’ runner.
LYTTON
With a textural modern geometric motif, Lytton adapts a Thom Filicia fabric pattern for the floor.
Offering the same construction as Gansett and also inspired by Feizy's Enzo collection, Lytton refreshes a Thom Filicia fabric pattern for the floor. In stock in June, rugs are available in sizes: 2x3, 5x8, 8x10, 9’6”x13’6, 12x15 and 2’6”x8’ runner.
PECONIC
The hand-knotted Peconic undergoes a washing and embossing process for soft hand.
The new Peconic rug is hand-knotted of a blend of New Zealand wools and employs a multi-color base and single color pile. Each piece undergoes a washing and embossing process for a soft and cozy feel. In stock in June and available in the following sizes: 2x3, 4x6, 5x8, 8x10, 9x12 and 10x14.
TRUXEL
The new Truxel collection by Thom Filicia is hand-knotted and lightly washed to maintain the quality of yarn.
The Truxel collection by Thom Filicia for Feizy rolls out this spring. Crafted from a combination of hand-spun and hand-carded yarn, these hand-knotted rugs are lightly washed to maintain the quality of the yarn and its natural character. Each is hand-sheared to maintain a natural look with some irregularities. Stock is expected in June and size options are: 2x3, 4x6, 5x8, 8x10, 9x12, 10x14, 12x15, 2’6”x8’, 2’6”x10’ and 8’ round.
