Unique Loom Debuts Panama Jack Outdoor Rugs at Atlanta and Vegas Summer Markets

The iconic lifestyle brand Panama Jack celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2024, debuts outdoor area rug partnership with Unique Loom rolling out 24 designs.

Unique Loom introduces its fresh lineup of outdoor rugs under theiconic lifestyle brand Panama Jack.

LAS VEGAS –  Unique Loom has added a new licensing partner, the iconic Panama Jack brand, to its stable of high visibility names including Sabrina Soto and Jill Zarin.

RugNews caught up with David Jolley, vice president of sales, Unique Loom, to discuss the new program, which was launched at AmericasMart for Casual Market, and World Market Center for Las Vegas Market, both in July 2024.

“The response was excellent in Atlanta,” Jolley explained. “We took two booths in the Temporaries, and Panama Jack’s outdoor furniture licensee Pelican Reef has a showroom in AmericasMart, where the company showcased the new outdoor rugs with its furniture.

“We are launching with two dozen designs, all outdoor rugs right now. And we’re working with the Panama Jack folks on the introductory catalog.

“Outdoor furniture retailers are our No. 1 target," he continued, noting that the inaugural program sizes include 5x8 and 8x11, with the anticipated additions of 4x6, and 8 foot and 10 foot rounds soon. He also said that Unique Loom plans to return to the fall Casual Market Atlanta, running Sept. 16-19, 2024.

Panama Jack introduced its first area rugs in 2016 with United Weavers, which produced handmade outdoor rugs and an indoor line.
